Lead distribution software for performance marketers
Advanced lead selling, without a developer. Set it up in minutes.
pingtype is lead distribution software for media buyers and affiliates. Capture leads from your traffic, filter out the junk, and route each one to the right buyer with ping trees and ping/post bidding, with built-in server-to-server (S2S) tracking, all set up by clicking.
You bring the traffic. pingtype captures every lead, filters the bad ones, and sells the rest to the right buyer, in real time.
Your traffic
Capture the lead
Paid social, native, search, email or SEO sends visitors to your form. Every lead lands in pingtype, even when someone quits halfway.

Filter and route
Rules remove duplicates, fake details and blocked sources. Then a cascade offers each lead to your buyers in the order you set, inside the caps you set.
Your buyers
Deliver and get paid
Each sold lead is delivered to the buyer's system by API. You see revenue for every source, and what you owe each publisher.
Easy to use
No developer needed.
pingtype turns the parts of lead selling that normally need a developer, such as buyer API connections, fraud filters, ping trees and tracking, into simple screens. If you can fill in a form, you can run a campaign.

Simple does not mean basic. Under the screens is a full API and ping/post bidding, so a developer can go as far as you like later. OpenRTB is coming soon.
How it works
Six steps, from the first click to the final payment.
This is what pingtype does with every lead, in order.
What lead businesses run into every week, and how pingtype handles it without a developer.
Affiliate networks
Launch your own offer, without a dev team.
You already have publishers sending you traffic. Now you want to run offers of your own and sell the leads straight to buyers. Building that system yourself means hiring developers to build it, then more developers to keep it running.
With pingtype you set it up yourself, in minutes, and nobody has to maintain it.
It is how you sell the leads you generate. Instead of sending every lead to one buyer, pingtype captures each lead, checks it, and routes it to the buyers you choose, in the order and inside the limits you set.
Do I need a developer?
No. You build forms, rules, buyer lists and caps on simple screens, with no code. If you do have a developer, everything is also available through an API and ping/post bidding, so you can connect your own systems later.
What is a ping tree?
A ping tree is an ordered list of buyers. Each lead is offered to the first buyer, and if they decline, are full or the lead does not match their rules, it goes to the next, until one accepts. pingtype calls it a cascade and supports waterfall and weighted ping trees, plus ping/post bidding.
Does pingtype include S2S tracking?
Yes. Server-to-server (S2S) click tracking and postbacks are built in. Every click gets an ID that stays with the lead, publishers get a postback when a lead sells, and you can use your own tracking domain, void or import conversions and test a postback.
How much does pingtype cost?
The Founder package is $900 a month for the first 100 partners, with every feature included and limits set when you onboard. Larger teams can get an Enterprise plan by quote. See the pricing page for a comparison with other lead distribution software.
Is pingtype good for affiliate networks?
Yes. Affiliate networks use pingtype to launch their own offers and sell the leads directly, without a development team. Publishers can sign up through your link, you approve them, and you can put your own brand and sign-in address on it.
Who is pingtype for?
Media buyers, affiliates and performance marketers who generate leads and want to sell them to more than one buyer. Buyers use it to receive the leads they want. Agencies get a separate space for each client.
What is a cascade?
A cascade, also called a ping tree, is an ordered list of buyers. A lead is offered to the first buyer. If they pass, are full, or the lead does not match their filters, it goes to the next. You can also split leads between buyers by percentage.
How do you stop bad leads?
Every lead is checked against your rules before it is sold: duplicates, missing consent, fake details, blocked sources and contact hours. Each source also gets a quality grade, so you can see which publishers send good leads.
What are caps?
A cap limits how much a buyer or publisher can take, such as 100 leads a day or $5,000 a week. When a cap is full, leads move on to the next buyer, so nobody gets more than you agreed.
What happens to leads that do not sell?
They are not lost. Unsold leads are kept, and you can offer them to buyers again later.
How do publishers get paid?
Each offer sets the payout: a fixed amount per lead, or a share of what the buyer pays. You see what each publisher is owed and record each payment.
How do I connect a buyer's system?
Each buyer offer is set up on one screen: the address, how your fields are named, how to sign in and how to read the buyer's reply. You can fire a test lead before it goes live.
Can I put my own brand on it?
Yes. Each client space can have its own logo, colours, sign-in address and tracking domain, so your publishers and buyers see your name.
Can publishers and buyers sign themselves up?
Yes. Publishers sign up through your link and wait for your approval. Buyers can get their own login and see only their own results.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes. Add your own domain, such as go.yourbrand.com, and point it at pingtype with a DNS record.
Can it connect to other systems?
Yes. Send leads in through an API, deliver sold leads to a buyer's system by API, run a ping/post auction for each lead, and send postbacks to publishers when a lead sells. OpenRTB is coming soon.
